1.2.
Colour design

The central part of the logo is the name IAOT. The title is completed by the registered trade mark ®.

The main colour of the logo is blue, which symbolises reliability and stability see The company colour of the IAOT.

The logo stands out the best on a white surface, which we thus prefer when using the logo.

1.2.
Black and white design

In addition to the standard colour design, the black and white design of the logo may appear should the colour design be impossible to use.

It is possible to use both black and white and negative option depending on the surface colour.

100% black is used for the standard black and white design. The negative variation of the logo is used on dark surfaces.

1.3.
The logo on material

The special plastic variations of the logo are used for example on leather, wood, glass and different types of textile or metal where it is possible to apply the logo by using different technologies (coinage, agglutination print, engraving, sandblasting etc.).

In cases where colours cannot be used, the plasticity plays a particularly significant role. The logo can be used in ascended or recessed style. When using these techniques of application, it is imperative to maintain good legibility of the logo.

1.4.
The logo in connection with text

The application of the logo in connection with text depends on the design of the logo. The text can be located either under the logo or on the same level in the lower part of the logo in order to create a compact unit. The text is printed by the company type RePublic CE see Additional type.

We primarily use the logo joint with text in its standard colour design but black and white and negative designs can also be used.

The regulations on application on surface are identical to those on application of logo without text. The secured area of the logo is extended accordingly. More information concerning the secure area can be found in the chapter Secure area of the logo.

1.11.
The dimensional range

The 100% size of the logo is the size on the most frequently used A4 format ( writing paper, minutes etc.). For an easier orientation in the handbook, the dimensions of logos suggested for use are always in those of the dimensional range.

The smallest size permitted to use is that of 30%, in all variations of the logo. Size any smaller than 30% could challenge the legibility and perception of the logo.

1.11.
The logo on surface

The standard colour and black and white design of the IAOT logo is primarily used on white surface, as it stands out the best. When applied to surface other than white, it is necessary to choose either the standard colour, black and white or negative design of the logo based on which will stand out the most.

The logo is generally used in its colour or positive black and white version on surfaces with saturation up to 20%. On surfaces with saturation higher than 20% the use of the negative variation of the logo is required.

The illustrations indicate how to use the logo on same coloured surfaces, from the lightest to the darkest.
